Job Overview:
A busy OB/GYN practice in Sherman Oaks is urgently hiring a dedicated, compassionate Medical Assistant for an in-person, part-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take patient vital signs and medical histories
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide patient education and support
- Assist with clinical documentation and notes
Requirements:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- OB/GYN or women's health experience is a plus
- Medical charting / EHR experience is a plus
- EMR systems, 1 year (preferred)
- BLS certification (preferred)
