A qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Coach is sought to support Jiu-Jitsu and Judo instruction in a structured, positive, and student-focused environment. This position is well suited for an individual with prior martial arts coaching experience who is passionate about youth development and committed to fostering discipline, respect, and personal growth through martial arts training.
The Assistant Coach works alongside the Head Coach to help deliver engaging and well-organized classes while promoting a safe and supportive atmosphere for students of all skill levels. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to effectively engage with children are essential for success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach with planning and leading Jiu-Jitsu and Judo classes.
- Demonstrate techniques accurately while reinforcing proper form and safety standards.
- Monitor student participation and provide constructive guidance during drills and instruction.
- Help maintain an organized, disciplined, and encouraging training environment.
- Support student development by promoting confidence, respect, teamwork, and consistent skill progression.
- Ensure classes operate smoothly by assisting with supervision, organization, and adherence to academy expectations.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and coaching experience.
